Get Youth Moving, LLC
offers sports and movement classes to children ages 2-10.
  • According to the CDC, regular physical activity helps children improve their fitness, build strong bones and muscles, and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
  • Movement and play encourages the development of social skills such as taking turns, sharing, communication, cooperation and organization. It can also help increase memory, perception, attention, emotion and decision making.
  • Helping young children develop basic movement skill will increase school readiness while building a foundation for a healthy and active lifestyle as they grow.

I created Get Youth Moving, LLC to "get youth moving" towards strengthening themselves physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually and creatively through a variety of classes. I have been working in the recreation and education fields for over 35 years in Andover. In this time, I have been fortunate to work in different indoor and outdoor settings, collaborate with knowledgeable educators, and experience various abilities and personalities of children ages 2-15. I've gained an understanding of how to encourage a child's love of movement in a fun and safe environment.
"It's the things we play with & the people who help us play that make a difference in our lives."  ~FRED ROGERS
