Rise N Shine Soccer
Ages 2-5 This soccer clinic is designed for the player just starting out. Dribbling, passing and kicking skills will be covered. Soccer balls will be provided. Session 1 Monday, begins September 16, 10:30-11:15 am (FILLED) Session 2 Monday, begins November 4, 10:30-11:15 am (FILLED) 6 classes, limit 15 children Cost: $75 AP Sports, 33 Upton Drive, Wilmington 1/2 Pint Hoops Ages 2-5 This introductory basketball class will teach children skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. Mini basketballs will be provided. Session 1 (Tuesdays) Tuesday, begins September 17, 1:15-2:00 pm (FILLED) Session 2 (Wednesdays) Wednesday, begins November 6, 1:15-2:00 pm (7 spots left) 6 classes, limit 15 children Cost: $75 Greek Orthodox Church, 71 Chandler Road, Andover Wee Warriors Ages 2-5 Play sports like the big kids! Children will be introduced to a variety of sports and games in a fun, noncompetitive environment. Focus is on improving gross motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Session 1 Wednesday, begins September 18, 9:30-10:15 am (FILLED) Session 2 Wednesday, begins November 6, 9:30-10:15 am (4 spots left) 6 classes, limit 15 children Cost: $75 Greek Orthodox Church, 71 Chandler Road, Andover Lil’ Chippers (CANCELLED - low enrollment) Ages 2-5 Learn the basics of golf through fun games & activities. No experience necessary. Equipment is provided. T-Ball Ages 2-5 Children will be introduced to the fundamentals of T-ball. Skills including throwing, catching and batting will be taught. Bring a glove. Session 1 (Thursdays) Thursday, begins September 19, 1:15-2:00 pm (FILLED) Session 2 (Mondays) Monday, begins November 4, 1:15-2:00 pm (2 spots left) 6 classes, limit 15 children Cost: $75 AP Sports, 33 Upton Drive, Wilmington Turf Tykes Ages 2-5 Play sports on the turf like the big kids! Children will be introduced to a variety of sports and games in a fun, noncompetitive environment. Sports include soccer, lacrosse, flag football, field hockey, golf and track and field. Prior skating experience is not required for all beginner classes. Snow pants, coats and mittens recommended. Helmets are required. Children must bring their own skates (please no double runners). Session 2A Friday, begins November 8, *2:00-2:50 pm* (MERGED WITH 2B) Session 2B Friday, begins November 8, *2:50-3:40 pm* (FILLED) 6 classes, limit 10 children Cost: $140 Micro Ice Training Center, 65 Flagship Drive, North Andover Tiny Town Soccer League Ages 3-5 Not old enough for Town Soccer? Here's the league for your child! This league is designed for boys and girls just starting out in soccer, as well as those who have some knowledge of the game. Coach Michelle will place players on teams. Rosters and schedules will be emailed on September 9, 2019. Game times vary each week depending on the schedule..
