Busy Bees
Ages 2-5 Join us for some early morning activities that involve sports and games. Turn taking, listening skills and good sportsmanship will be highlighted. Session 1 Monday, begins January 9, 9:30-10:15 am (5 spots left) Session 2 Monday, begins March 6, 9:30-10:15 am (FILLED) Session 3 Monday, begins May 1, 9:30-10:15 am (1 spot left) 6 classes, limit 15 children Cost: $60 AP Sports, 33 Upton Drive, Wilmington Rise N Shine Soccer Ages 2-5 This soccer clinic is designed for the player just starting out. Dribbling, passing and kicking skills will be covered. Soccer balls will be provided. Session 1 Monday, begins January 9, 10:30-11:15 am (4 spots left) Session 2 Monday, begins March 6, 10:30-11:15 am (FILLED) Session 3 Monday, begins May 1, 10:30-11:15 am (FILLED) 6 classes, limit 15 children Cost: $60 AP Sports, 33 Upton Drive, Wilmington Court Cubs Ages 2-5 This class is for children just starting out in tennis. Focus is on fundamentals and strengthening hand-eye coordination. Racquets will be available to borrow, but children may bring their own. Session 3 Monday, begins May 1, 1:15-2:00 pm (FILLED) 6 classes, limit 10 children Cost: $60 Greek Orthodox Church, 71 Chandler Road, Andover 1/2 Pint Hoops Ages 2-5 This introductory basketball class will teach children skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. Mini basketballs will be provided. Skills including throwing, catching and batting will be taught. Bring a glove. Here's the league for your child! This league is designed for boys and girls just starting out in soccer, as well as those who have some knowledge of the game. Coach Michelle will place players on teams. Rosters and schedules will be emailed on April 30. Game times vary each week depending on the schedule. Session 3 Saturday, begins May 6, game times at 9:00,10:15 & 11:30 am 5 games, limit 72 children (FILLED) Cost: $65 New England Bible Church, 60 Chandler Road, Andover Learn to Skate Ages 3-6 (will accept children up to age 8 in the intermediate classes) This class is designed to introduce preschoolers to ice skating. Prior skating experience is not required for all beginner classes. Snow pants, coats and mittens recommended. Helmets are required. Children must bring their own skates (please no double runners).
